The Dope Girl: QVC Pre-Oscar Party

Imagine my surprise when I was invited to attend an exclusive Oscar weekend party hosted by QVC at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills! Sadly, the fabulosity of the party was dampened (pun intended!) by the never ending rain Friday night! The weather was simply horrible.

It is because of this that I dont even have pictures of myself to share with you. I was a frizzy-haired, runny make-up, soaking wet mess. The event was outdoors which meant everyone was packed together beneath a tent trying not to ruin their shoes in the mud (like I did) and remain dry and warm. They reached capacity, ran out of giftbags and there was an hour wait to retrieve cars from valet!

Despite all of these things, the A-List celeb sightings, open bar and endless hors d'oeuvres, and all the amazing fashion was totally worth it! I totally got to spy on two of my favorite Tinseltown oddballs -who also happen to be married- Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter! Helena is so frickin' amazing, I couldn't take my eyes off her! Kim Kardashian, Colin Firth, Lisa Rinna, Joan Rivers and more were also in attendance. Ummm -it's really hard to spot most celebrities in a crowded room full of people. They're so regular looking! :-)

It was too cramped to pull out my huge Kodak camera, plus i couldnt risk it getting wet, so I only have Iphone pics to share but you can still peep all the fabness!
